A busy afternoon

BROMSGROVE firefighters were called out to two incidents on Tuesday, January 29. At 12.11pm, crews attended an electrical fire inside a light fitting in an office at Charford First School, in Charford Road. The school was evacuated and the fire was out on arrival. Shortly afterwards, at 12.49pm, a crew went to NEW College in Blackwood Road. Firefighters isolated a gas leak caused by a digger cutting through a gas main and made the scene safe while the gas main was repaired.  more...
