BROMSGROVE residents can get fruity and help preserve Worcestershire's tree heritage. Worcestershire County Council is offering people the chance to protect and increase the county's orchard heritage by buying local organic fruit trees. Selections of organic apples, pears and plums have been especially pot-grown and are available for £13.50. The trees are grown in partnership with Walcott Organic nursery and are available from November to February for planting in the winter. Order early to avoid disappointment.
