Building Society staff serve up a cuppa for Acorns

A refreshing cuppa and a slice of cake were on the menu at the Worcester branch of the Skipton Building Society to help raise funds for Acorns Children's Hospice. Staff including Lauren Barry and customer advisor Michelle Parker started brewing at 10am and served customers and passers-by in Broad Street, including John Bishop, pictured. Ms Parker said: "We wanted to do something to help a local cause that relies so much on fund-raising." The event is part of Acorns Tea at Three summer fund-raising campaign, giving local organisations, schools and social groups an easy way to raise cash. Picture by Martin Humby. 32122801  more...
