We've had fun with a golden fleece

BUDDING young actors at a Worcestershire school have been performing a take on the Greek classic Jason and the Argonauts. Pupils at Martley Primary School have been staging Fleeced for parents, friends and pupils. A total of 84 children have been involved in the play, which has been co-ordinated by teacher Pamela Mullins. School spokesman Jane Install said: "It has been really fantastic and we are very proud of the children. They have all done a marvellous job and the play is wonderful." The pupils, who were all key stage two students, staged two performances of the play. Above are Alex Holdsworth as Jason with his evil uncle King Pelia (Luke Brown), on-stage girlfriend Medea (Natalie Webster) and ghost warrior Sam James.
