Blockage

BROMSGROVE nightclub Aura closed early last Thursday due to a toilet blockage. The decision was taken to close the nightclub, in Worcester Road, an hour early, just after 1pm, following the blockage in the mens' toilets, which led to a water leak in the club's entrance area. Clubbers were given free entrance tickets outside as they left. There was no damage, no danger to the public and the club remains open.  more...

Auditions will be held at 7.30pm next Wednesday at Lickey parish hall, in Old Birmingham Road. The £100 market vouchers were given away to raise cash at the night time event as part of the Stephanie and Martyn Memorial held to remember the four teens killed in a car accident on the A449 near Ombersley last year. DROITWICH Spa's Classic and Vintage Car Rally has been hailed as a big success after the event raised more than £500 for the County Air Ambulance.
