My interest in weather which spans 50 years at the end of 2007, has shown me how ever changing it is. But with Global Warming, certain weather patterns and types stands out boldly. Frequent long dry hot sunny spells through the summer, heavier storms which produce large volumes of water and flash flooding. Over the UK as a whole the incidence of heavy larger hail stones within our storms are much more common than when I first started taking readings.  more...
