Teenager attacked by gang

A TEENAGER was assaulted by a group of thugs brandishing pieces of wood while out with friends in Bidford.
The 16-year-old was with a group of up to nine friends near the path leading to the recreation field on Westholme Road when approached by a larger group of male and female teenagers at about 8.30pm on Thursday, June 14.
The larger group, of up to 30 teenagers, attacked four or five members of the smaller group resulting in cuts and bruising around the 16-year-old's face.
The larger group dispersed immediately after the seemingly unprovoked attack.
