SIR - It seems like only yesterday that Mike Foster was elected MP for Worcester, after after an election in which the city's Fran Richmond was identified as "Worcester Woman" decreed by New Labour's Millbank nerve centre as the very type of voter considered vital to their success. How different it all is now. The euphoria is all but forgotten and the gloves are off. As a battle for the heart and soul of the Labour party gathers momentum and we can only watch as mesmerised observers.  more...
