aTHE Allegri Quartet and Ross Daly will bring some class to Mothers' Day when they perform at the Artrix as part of Bromsgrove Concerts' winter season on Sunday, March 26.
This well known foursome will play the first string quartets of Shostakovich and Janacek and music by Roland Melia, while poet Richard Douglas Penant reads out his work.
Daly will bring a Mediterranean flavour to the concert as he plays the traditional Crete instrument the Lyra.
Tickets for the show cost £13 (£4.50 for students) and can be bought by calling the Artrix's box office on 01527 577330.
