THE winning duo of Antonio Banderas and Catherine Zeta Jones are reunited in this sequel to the first Zorro film.
The pair return, seemingly to have another good time messing around with swords, great costumes and plenty of action.
And this is the main attraction of this film, and its predecessor - they are just great fun to watch.
Everyone involved seems to enjoy themselves and put their all into the fun and frolics.
Zorro and his now-wife Elena are enjoying life, along with their son, until a spanner is thrown in the works by secret agents and our hero is left struggling to win back his family - and the support of the people.
Banderas and Zeta Jones are great together, as ever, and Adrian Alonso as their son is a brilliant comic addition to the team.
The baddie is played wonderfully by Rufus Sewell and the whole cast seem to fulfil their roles more than adequately, making for a great evening's entertainment.
Simplicity sells and Legend of Zorro has followed the winning formula seen in Mask of Zorro. Yes, it may be a carbon copy of the first film, but this works.
Just sit back and enjoy the ride, with just the right proportion of action, romance, and humour. Well worth a watch.
