DROITWICH folk enjoyed a healthy start to the day when the town's Cancer Research UK shop held a mini-Big Breakfast event.
Organisers visited the shop with a big bowl of fruit to encourage people to live healthier lives.
Cancer Research UK was asking everyone to hold a party to encourage donations to the charity.
Cancer experts believe around a third of all cancers are linked to diet, obesity and alcohol, and that eating at least five portions of fruit or veg a day helps fight the disease.
Heather Tilley, the shop's assistant manager, said: "The children who are regulars at our shop enjoyed the fruit, and the event helped to support local Big Breakfast fund-raising events.
"Every little that we raise helps, and it all goes to research, which is what we strive for."
