THE meeting opened with a minute's silence in memory of Ada Rohloff.
Sheila Martin offered to be the delegate at the spring council meeting and names were drawn for attending the group meeting where Wythall will be hosts.
Sheila O'Shaughnessy reported on a rather slippery walk around Tanworth-in-Arden and the next walk will be around Earlswood.
The next meeting will be members' night and Bernice Peach will act as president.
The speaker was Peggy Michell, the newly appointed group co-ordinator.
She told of her experiences in 2004, when she went on a sponsored camel trek in Mongolia to raise money for Riding for the Disabled.
Everyone had the opportunity to try on the typical long coats and furry hats worn by the Mongolian people, which Peggy had brought with her.
The competition for Anything Camel was won by Gwen Bent.
