AN Alcester firm has donated money to support the refurbishment of the Greig.

Jewsons gave the centre £5,000 to help push the improvements to the community building.

Greig manager Stacy Robinson said: "A big thank you to Jewson's for this generous donation.

"It kick-started the kitchen and toilet refurbishment at the Greig Hall and started something we hope will continue to get it back to its original splendour."

He added: "We at the Greig hope other generous firms can follow suit and add momentum to the redevelopment's for all our community needs."

The new Greig Lifestyles is due to be opened in early April.
