Officer honoured

A FORMER Alcester policeman has been awarded a commendation for his work.
Det Insp Naveed Malik was honoured along with 10 other police officers by Warwick District Council last week.
He received the award for his exceptional investigation into the attempted murder of a Warwick school girl.
DI Malik was Alcester's Sector Inspector last year before Emma Walton took on the role.
