ART will be at its best next week when a top aerosol artist helps raise money for charity.
A unique portrait of the late soccer legend George Best will be created in front of visitors to the Love Contemporary Art gallery at Longbarn Village, Alcester.
Black Country based artist Mac 1 will be freehand painting the picture using spraycans directly onto canvas in his own special style on Wednesday, March 8 from 1pm.
Lisa Edwards from Love said: "So many visitors to the gallery are overwhelmed when they realise how Mac 1 creates his art work, that one customer claimed to have left the gallery with goose bumps and asked how he achieved this. So we thought it would be a fantastic opportunity to help raise some money for a very worthy cause."
Tickets cost £1 and are available from Love Contemporary Art. All money will be donated to Birmingham Children's Hospital and the portrait will be raffled off, with the winner drawn at the beginning of April. Call 01789 765145 for more details.
