FINSTALL WI's first meeting of 2006 was well attended. President Jill Findon hoped that the programme for 2006 will have something for everyone. Jerusalem was sung and the minutes were read by secretary Mary Limmer, one of two secretaries, Ann Parr being the other. Names were taken for the annual council meeting in Malvern in March. Ann Widdecombe MP being the guest speaker, six members hope to attend. Our members feel that next year's subscription (2007) is rather high and a discussion took place about that. Our president Jill Findon welcomed Garth Lowe, speaker for the afternoon, showing us slides of the Dordogne and Pyrenees.   more...
