Oliver! treat for ears and eyes

THE classic story of the orphan who asked for more will be performed by pupils from Malvern College Junior School this weekend.

Oliver! has a cast of 60 youngsters, aged nine to 13, a visually stunning set designed by Simon Mellor, costumes supplied by Malvern Theatre Players and a band which includes four professional musicians.

It promises to be a treat for those who appreciate youth music theatre generally and more specifically those who enjoy Lionel Bart's famous musical.

Performance take place at the college's Rogers Theatre, Thirlstane Road, tonight (Friday) and Saturday, at 7.30pm.

Tickets, which are free, are available through the school office on 01684 581600, or at the door, but booking is advisable.
