URBAN scenes from the Midlands form part of a new exhibition of oil paintings in Stow.
British Life is a portrait of contemporary life by artist John Lines and includes urban, marine and landscape scenes from the Midlands as well as the north of England and Wales.
Often compared to LS Lowry, Lines said: "I simply paint through honest eyes."
The exhibition runs from Saturday, February 25, until Saturday, March 18 at the Red Rag Gallery, with doors open 10am-5pm Monday to Saturday and 11am-4pm on Sundays.
