A KIDDERMINSTER chippy landed a big catch by taking top prize in a national competition.
Steve Mouskos, who runs Captain Cod on Comberton Hill, won his weight in frozen fillets in the contest, run by the Frozen at Sea Fillets Association as part of its sponsorship of the 18th annual Fish and Chip Shop of the Year competition.
Tim Cartwright-Taylor, secretary of the association, said: "As suppliers of frozen at sea fillets to over three-quarters of chip shops across the UK, it is important that we show them our support and I'm delighted to congratulate Steve and his team on winning his weight in fish."
