THE 250th anniversary of Mozart's birth is being marked with a series of illustrated talks, recitals and events at Elgar School of Music in Worcester. Highlights include a chamber music concert on February 23, a piano recital by Janine Smith on March 23, an all-day series of concerts on May 13 and an opera weekend on May 27-28. The Mozart season will finish with a gala concert at Worcester Cathedral on Saturday, June 24, when the Requiem will be performed by the Elgar Chorale and Camerata.
