A WORCESTER actress is offfering youngsters the chance to shine by joining a new drama group.
Julie Fisher, born and raised in Worcester, is launching Perdiswell Drama Club.
She made her stage debut in Annie at the Swan Theatre in 1984 and was inspired by her time in Worcester Operatic Dramatic Society's Youth Section (WODYS) to study community drama at Paul McCartney's Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts.
Now, with nearly 10 years experience of leading youth theatre, Julie, aged 30, is looking forward to making original theatre with Worcester's young people.
Workshops for eight to 12-year-olds will run from 4pm to 5.30pm and 13 to 16-year-olds will meet between 5.45pm to 7.15pm at Perdiswell Leisure Centre from next Thursday.
