River body named

THE woman whose body was recovered from the River Avon in Bidford has been named.
Mavis Janet Anderson, 69, of Birmingham Road, Studley, was found on Saturday, February 4. She was reported missing the previous day.
Police are not treating her death as suspicious.
A police search involving the force helicopter and dogs was launched and Mrs Anderson's body was found at noon in the river.
The results of a post mortem, carried out last Monday, show the cause of death was consistent with drowning, although toxicology tests are still being carried out.
An inquest has been opened and adjourned to a later date.
