Mrs T's contempt for pensioners

SIR - Where does Jim Evans (Letters, January 31) get the quaint notion that if you don't praise Labour you are obviously a Tory? Mrs Thatcher showed her contempt for pensioners by breaking the earnings link. Gordon Brown continued with his derisory 75p per week "rise" for pensioners.
Tony Blair is indeed "son of Thatcher" - Dave Cameron is Blair's doppelgänger. I would never vote Labour, Tory or Lib Dem, Mr Evans. A plague on all of them!
