Blair needs to join real world

SIR - I almost choked on my toast listening to our beloved Prime Minister Tony Blair! He rants on and on about the United Kingdom having the fourth richest economy in the world. If this is the case then why are our senior citizens at the bottom of the pensions league throughout the European Community? Why are council taxes going through the roof above inflation? Tony Blair and his government need to join the real world.
