Anniversary tribute continues

English Symphony Orch-estra's Beethoven series continues on Friday, February 17.
The concert at Malvern Theatres will see the ESO perform the Beethoven Symphonies No's 1 and 4 and Piano Concerto No 2.
A performance of the complete Beethoven symphonic cycle is one of the major parts of the ESO's 25th anniversary season.
Before the concert will be the ESO's Alive and Kicking programme, which this month features Winter Music Concertino No 6 by Robin Holloway, one of Britain's leading contemporary composers, who will introduce the piece.
The Alive and Kicking performance is at 6.30pm followed by the Beethoven symphonies at 7.30pm.
