Does walking have to be a problem?

From the archive, first published Friday 10th Feb 2006.

SIR - With regard to the rebuilding of Christopher Whitehead, surely the answer would be to start the rebuilding on the ground reserved for the new sports centre with the gradual demolition of the old school. When completed, the sports centre could be built farther up Malvern Road if Sainsbury's is given the go-ahead for its new store. As for the sports ground, both King's School and Worcester Royal Grammar School children have to walk to their sports fields - so what is the problem?

A SHEPHERD,

Lower Broadheath.
