Britannia Batteries

From the Redditch Advertiser, first published Tuesday 19th Dec 2006.

THE Britannia Batteries factory in Lodge Road, Redditch (actually Union Street) in 1930. This is the 1905 extension, built when BSA took over from Eadie Manufacturing Co. The works police occupied the gatehouse office - the snall window by the lamppost. Now demolished, the site is B&Q's car park.
