Nurses who put others above self

SIR I am writing to say thank you to Asda for kindly donating 270 Christmas hampers to Marie Curie Cancer Care. These were given out to 270 of the Marie Curie nurses who gave up their own family Christmas to make someone else's special. Our nurses care for cancer patients at home over the Christmas and new year period every year but it makes a huge difference to know that it is appreciated.
The Marie Curie Nursing Service operates 365 days a year to provide high quality nursing, totally free, to give terminally ill people the choice of dying at home supported by their families.
