VARIETY will be the spice of life at the first performance in a newly-refurbished Much Marcle Memorial Hall.
The village's amateur dramatic society has produced a fun evening of entertainment including comedy sketches, music and drama.
Around £250,000 has been spent on hall improvements including adding a permanent stage and presidium arch.
Director Eric Bottomley said the society, now in its eleventh year, was keen to try out the new building.
"It's going to be a special show after all the work done on the hall," he said.
The line up on Thursday to Saturday, February 9-11, includes Alan Ayckbourn's one act play A Talk in the Parks and performances from the Marcle Singers and folk band Fancy That. Vet Eden Tanner will be dressing up as a naughty schoolboy to perform a medley of comedy songs.
Tickets are £6 for adults (£4 concs) from Much Marcle Village Stores on 01531 660201.
