COUGHTON Court's recruitment drive was deemed a success by its National Trust organisers.
The open day last week gave people the chance to see the court since management was transferred from the Throckmorton family to the trust.
The day was also a chance for the public to gain insight into a number of job opportunities that have arisen since the change.
Mark Armstrong, area manager for the National Trust said: "We were delighted at the number of people who are interested in working at Coughton Court.
"We are recruiting a completely new team and are thrilled so many local people want to work in this wonderful setting."
There are still a number of positions vacant for working in the house, restaurant and shop.
The deadline for applications is this Friday. For more details, call 01789 400777.
