Shaming will just hit teacher morale

SIR - Is there no level to which Worcester MP Mike Foster is not prepared to sink? In his recent rant, he blames teachers for not stretching the gifted and able pupils enough.
Naming and shaming of the excellent teachers in this county is disgusting and will only affect morale. Is he trying to rid the county of teachers in an effort to solve the educational postcode lottery funding problems?
Fortunately, this county has dedicated and hard-working teachers and the vast majority of parents are grateful for what they do for our children.
