l Bookworms in Wyre Forest are being urged to make the most of their local library.
There are 23 libraries across the county, including those in Kidderminster, Stourport and Bewdley, as well as five mobile libraries.
Cathy Evans, Worcestershire County Council's library services manager said: "Lots of people love to read, be it fiction or factual works. However, work and family pressures may mean they have to give up their favourite hobby.
"A book given as a present can often inspire them to take up the habit again, and they can do it without spending any money at their local library."
