A WHOLE Lotta Love and plenty of rock and roll is guaranteed in Worcester this month as led Zeppelin tribute act Fred Zeppelin make a welcome return to Worcester. The group, who play all the hits from the true British rock and roll band, were voted one of the top 10 live acts to see in Christmas 2004 by readers of Kerrang. In July 2004 they were invited by Led Zeppelin's Jimmy Page to attend the Embassy Club, Mayfair, London, to pick up a certificate of thanks. Covers group Fred Zeppelin have been together for more than 11 years and have built up an impressive following.   more...

Sammy's a fine school

I WAS interested in the comments made by Paul Wilson (Letters, Saturday, August 27) about "Sammy's School". I was there from 1953 to 1957 and found it a very good school. We were very disciplined and we respected the teachers, and if we did anything wrong and were sent to see the headmistress we shook with fear. It was so different from today.
