Attack on girls: plea for clues

MALVERN Police have made an appeal for witnesses to come forward after two teenage girls were assaulted in the town.

The incident took place outside an address in Geraldine Road, between 4pm and 4.30pm on Monday.

A police spokesman said: "There were a considerable number of young people in the area at the time - as it was around the end of the school day - so we are hopeful some of them will have helpful information."

l At about 5.50pm on the same day, two girls were arrested at addresses in Five Oaks Close and Moat Crescent, Malvern, on suspicion of committing robbery in Geraldine Road.

They were bailed to return to Worcester Police Station while enquiries continue.
