GARDENING CLUB: The annual flower and produce show to be held on Saturday was the opening topic of the August meeting. Members were encouraged to enter the various categories and the show will have stalls selling cakes, produce and plants. The RHS handbook was available at the meeting to help answer any queries about the competition classes. On October 14 the club is visiting Nerine Nursery at Welland, and there are still places available for this visit.
