A COMPANY has been set up near Worcester to help local businesses save valuable space and money by storing and managing important documents more effectively.

Whitefoot-Forward Records Management, on the Hartlebury Trading Estate, uses a cutting-edge computerised indexing system to precision-store and manage clients' documents.

The secure archive facility is guarded 24 hours a day.

"Essentially we help businesses improve their efficiency, whether slashing storage costs, sorting and removing mountains of paperwork, releasing valuable operating space or cutting filing and finding times," said managing director Michael Whitefoot.

Retrieval

Some records are kept in "deep" storage ready to be destroyed at a later date, but many clients need a quick and accurate day-to-day retrieval and delivery service.

Mr Whitefoot is a data storage consultant, an IT and systems specialist and a member of the Records Management Society of Great Britain.

The centre at Hartlebury is the first in a planned network of record management facilities across the Midlands.
